As I look toward the future, I’m excited to build a career centered around people, purpose, and meaningful impact. I hope to continue growing, learning, and finding opportunities to make a difference in the lives of students and the communities around them.
Career Aspirations
I hope to build a career in higher education and student affairs because I have discovered that the work I find most meaningful is helping people grow. College is such a formative season of life, when students are developing their identities, building relationships, and figuring out who they want to become. I want to be part of creating the environments that help students feel supported, connected, and able to thrive.
My Passion
At the heart of my career goals is a passion for developing student leaders. Through my own experiences, I have discovered that I find even more fulfillment in helping others lead well than in simply being the person in charge. I love giving students the tools, confidence, and space to develop their own leadership styles and watching them turn that growth into meaningful experiences for the people around them.
What's Next
As I look toward what comes next, I am seeking a graduate program in higher education and student affairs where I can turn the instincts and experiences I have developed into the knowledge and skills to serve students thoughtfully and intentionally. I will graduate from Baylor University in May 2027 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, bringing with me an understanding of how the environments around us can influence our ability to thrive. I’m excited to continue learning how to intentionally create those environments for students while discovering where this passion can take me.
